U.S. Congressman Louie Gohmert, a Republican from Tyler, Texas, recently claimed that a coronavirus-fighting powder is being used in Germany to combat COVID-19 – the disease caused by the virus. During an interview with KLTV in Tyler earlier this month, Gohmert said that the powder, when mixed with water and used as a mist, can kill the virus on surfaces immediately and for 14 days thereafter.
