To be read
I have so many books
on my list!
But I’m sure there are
a few I’ve missed
I’ll start another page
add some more
though that current pile
is blocking my door
If I call in sick
I could read two
and then, perhaps,
I could squeeze through
I could make my way
to the pile in the hall
I just have to stop time
to read them all
Sure I could have more space
If I read them on a screen
But it’s not the same
you know what I mean
And even if today
I somehow finish eight
there will always be more books
Isn’t that great?
