Many of us live in bubbles of likeminded folks. Our friends think the way we do, whether it’s about politics, social issues or the best place to live. And we like it that way. And everyone else? They’re just wrong. Or maybe they fall for the fake news they read. We never do.
What Everybody Thinks
there’s people out there
who are wrong
on this we can agree
how they got so gullible
it’s just so hard to see
all believing what they’re told
and beating on the drum
but they must know, under it all
that what they say is dumb
they’re just trying to be smug
pretend they know it all
can’t they just think for themselves
let their pretense fall
like me, and people who believe
the same things that I do
it’s obvious, right in front of your face
