Owner/operator Stephen Gardner shares information about The Best Little Toy Museum in Texas in Wylie for the Texas Standard’s Texas Museum Map series:
After retiring in 2021 from a 28-year career in the military, I decided to take my over 30-year toy collection and turn it into a toy museum for all to enjoy. With 20,000+ pieces displayed, the collection is heavily pop culture-themed, with over 500 displays of your favorite movies, TV shows, and comic books going back from the 1920s to present day.
The museum is as much for adults as it is for children as the collection is arranged in chronological order. So it is like a history of movies and TV by toys – a little trip down memory lane.
In addition to touring the toy collection, we have a game room equipped with arcades, pool table, as well as we offer a scavenger hunt where if you find all 20 figures, you win a prize.
We look forward to seeing you out here.
